NYC Republicans was founded by Marko Kepi in 2007. While attending John Jay College Marko realized how the liberal universities were recruiting college students to help elect liberal democrats across New York State. Marko saw a disconnect in New York City republican party that was missing between the party and the republican youth. A city of 9 million people had only 10 elected republicans city wide. It was then when Marko decided to start a republican social media campaign to help spread the republican message through the five boroughs, hoping to influence more young Americans to join the republican movement especially immigrants moving in to our city.
Ten years later NYC Republicans has the largest social media following amongst republican organizations and now focuses on starting a grassroots movement to help elect republicans through the five boroughs.
