Marko Kepi, President of NYC Republicans, Honored by the Parliament of Georgia
Marko Kepi, President of NYC Republicans, a United States Marine, and an officer with the New York City Police Department (NYPD), has been honored by the Parliament of Georgia with a Certificate of Gratitude and a distinguished award in recognition of his contributions and support for the Georgian diaspora.
During his official visit to Georgia, Kepi held meetings with representatives of government institutions, focusing on strengthening relationships and fostering cooperation among the Albanian, Georgian, and American communities.
Kepi expressed his sincere gratitude to Giorgi Tabatadze, Director of the International Legal, Consular and Diaspora Affairs Directorate at Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for his support and warm hospitality throughout the visit.
He also extended special thanks to Shalva Papuashvili, Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, and Irakli Zarkua, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Diaspora Committee, for this recognition and honor.
As an Albanian-American, President of NYC Republicans, U.S. Marine, and NYPD officer, Marko Kepi expressed his pride in continuing to build bridges of friendship and cooperation between the Albanian, Georgian, and American people.
