In Memoriam: Charlie Kirk

With heavy hearts, NYC Republicans mourn the loss of Charlie Kirk, who was senselessly taken from us on September 10, 2025. Charlie was more than a public figure—he was a passionate advocate for conservative values, free speech, and youth empowerment. His commitment to his principles and his fearless dedication to speaking truth to power inspired countless Americans, especially young people, to take a stand.

Charlie’s life was a testament to conviction. Whether on the campaign trail, in public debate, or engaging with communities across the country, he never shied away from defending what he believed in. He demanded accountability, championed courage, and sought to uplift voices that often go unheard. As founder of Turning Point USA, he devoted his energy to shaping a future where liberty, faith, and personal responsibility are honored.

We stand united in grief, but we also stand resolute in the knowledge that the ideals Charlie fought for do not die with him. We will carry forward his legacy — defending free speech, supporting law enforcement, rejecting radical and divisive ideologies, and ensuring that conservative voices continue to be heard with dignity and respect.

To Charlie’s family, friends, and all who loved him: your pain is ours.
